As Broker/Manager of Carolina Apartment Realty, John
Edwards has over 20 years of experience in investment sales, leasing,
and management. His understanding of the Carolina's apartment markets
and the factors that influence apartment values, such as capital
markets, supply/demand trends, occupancy rates, market absorption, and
employment growth provide the vital data to support the buy/sell
decision. His primary responsibilities include the sales and marketing
of apartment properties and land suitable for multifamily or residential
development. In addition to founding Carolina
Apartment Realty, Mr. Edwards owned and managed a Coldwell Banker
franchise in Myrtle Beach where he directed the management of 250
condos, homes, and duplexes. In 1999, his company joined the merger that
formed Coldwell Banker Commercial Chicora, the #1 CB Commercial company
in South Carolina. He has completed the course work and requirements for
the CCIM designation, and is a licensed broker in NC, SC, and GA. Mr.
Edwards graduated from the University of North Carolina with a degree in
Economics.
